Description
Praying mantis (Mantodea) is a special kind insect. They have triangular heads with bulging eyes supported on flexible necks. Their upright posture, while remaining stationary with forearms folded, has led to the common name praying mantis. They can be found world wide but are not often seen because they are great at camouflage. I spotted this cute, little guy while I was outside enjoying a walk around my neighborhood. It is believed that praying mantis bring good luck. I snapped a photo with my camera (a Nikon 3200) and my micro lens. I hope you find him as adorable as I do and that he brings you good luck as well.
